If you like nike then you need to stay in their bowerman series, they are a way better shoe than the shox

There is no running shoe that is acceptable for weight training, you need two different shoes. For running you need a lot of shock absorption, for weights you need a firm low heel. Nike Shox are among the worst shoes for weight training, I have heard of many injuries resulting from them.

I admit that I'm guilty of wearing running shoes for working out sometimes, but I have a pair of Chuck Taylor All stars that are good for lifting.

I totally agree! I am a runner so if you are into running and need a good shoe stay away from the nike shox, go for the bowerman series or asics is a good shoe but you need to figure out what kind of runner you are ( neutral, pronator) That will make a big difference in which shoe you need. |

I wear Nike Lunar Lites. They are running shoes but have a pretty low profile and are very stable. I have a pair of shox but would not wear them when doing any kind of leg work out. Plus they suck to run in.
